Inside ILO

Universitas is a partnership initiative within the ILO involving several sectors and departments. These include: Workers' Activities (ACTRAV), Employers' Activities (ACT/EMP), Coordination and Partnership Development (CODEV), and

UN system

Joint activities have been undertaken with YEN (Youth Employment Network) using sport as a tool for the social and economic insertion.
Universitas is actively participating in the UN Secretary General's Network on Sport, Peace and Development. See report: www.un.org/themes/sport/intro.
Universitas contributes directly to the achievement of 4 Millennium Development Goals and 6 UN targets. See: Universitas and the UN Millennium Declaration Goals (PDF 48 Kb).

The Universitas Programme was actively involved in the preparation and organisation of the UN Global Youth Leadership Summit, New York, 29-31 October 2006, and its follow-up activities.
