  • Annual review database
    Contains information from governments, employers' and workers' organizations, that have a role to play under the Follow-up to the ILO Declaration and Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work.
  • Applis
    A database on the application of international labour standards.
  • ASISTDOC
    A bibliographic database on labour-based technology.
  • Child Labour Statistics
    Compiles web sites which contain data from national statistical agencies, the ILO and other sources. Includes links to source web sites and references to print publications available in the ILO Library.
  • CISDOC
    Covers occupational health and safety, law and regulations, chemical safety data sheets, training material, journal articles, books and ILO Conventions.
  • Conditions of Work and Employment Laws
    Includes comprehensive legal information from countries around the world. Covers maternity protection, minimum wages and working time.
  • Corenit
    Database for the regular monitoring of labour standards in the Americas (in Spanish).
  • e.quality@work
    The ILO's Information Base on Equal Opportunities for Women and Men, is a database of guidelines and legislation on equal employment opportunities in the workplace.
  • Encyclopaedia of Occupational Health and Safety. Fourth edition
    Covers all aspects of occupational health and safety including occuptional diseases, prevention, health promotional activities; legal, ethical and social policy; hazards, accidents and safety management; chemicals in industry, toxicological properties and more.
  • Gladnet
    Global Applied Disability Research and Information Network on Employment and Training (produced with the collaboration of the ILO).
  • HIV/AIDS laws and policies
    Contains hard law (legislative texts) and soft law instruments (codes of practice, guidelines, policies) dealing entirely or in part with HIV/AIDS and the world of work.
  • ILOLEX
    ILOLEX is a trilingual database containing ILO Conventions and Recommendations, ratification information, comments of the Committee of Experts and the Committee on Freedom of Association, representations, complaints, interpretations, General Surveys, and numerous related documents.
  • ILO Taxonomy
    The ILO Taxonomy was designed by the ILO Library as a tool for retrieving information from the ILO website. Its structure therefore closely reflects the work programme of the ILO and is used by ILO departments and Field Offices for describing the content of their web pages and for searching the ILO web site. It is also well suited for use as a subject classification system for arranging collections in small libraries or labour information centres.
  • ILOTERM (only works in Internet Explorer)
    An invaluable working tool for linguists, provides English, French, Spanish and German equivalents of terms in the social and labour fields.
  • ILO Thesaurus
    The ILO Thesaurus is a compilation of more than 4000 terms relating to the world of work, in English, French, and Spanish. Covers labour and employment policy, human resources planning, labour standards, labour administration and labour relations, vocational training, economic and social development, social security, working conditions, wages, occupational safety and health and enterprise promotion.
  • INFOR
    Bibliographic database of the Inter-American Vocational Training Research and Documentation Centre (CINTERFOR).
  • Informal Economy Resource Database
    This database contains information on programmes and activities undertaken by the ILO that are directly or indirectly related to the informal economy. It is searchable by country, keyword, ILO author unit and date.
  • International Chemical Safety Cards (ICSCs)
    ICSC summarizes essential health and safety information on chemicals for their use at the "shop floor" level by workers and employers in factories, agriculture, construction and other work places.
  • International Standard Classification of Occupations ISCO-88
    The International Standard Classification of Occupations is a tool for organising jobs into a clearly defined set of groups according to the tasks and duties undertaken in the job. It is intended both for statistical users and for human resources professionals.
  • Key Indicators of the Labour Market (KILM)
    A database covering 20 labour market indicators on topics such as labour force participation, employment, hours of work, unemployment, wages, labour productivity and income distribution.
  • Laboral
    Bibliographic database from the ILO Regional Library for Latin America and the Caribbean (in Spanish).
  • Labordoc
    Labordoc, the ILO Library's database, contains references and full text access to the world's literature on the world of work. It covers all aspects of work and sustainable livelihoods and the work-related aspects of economic and social development, human rights and technological change. It includes books, articles, reports, and journals available at the ILO Library in Geneva and several ILO libraries around the world.
  • LABORSTA
    ILO's premier database on labour statistics covering employment, unemployment, wages and related variables.
  • Labour Force Surveys
    Compiles web sites which contain data from national statistical agencies, the ILO and other sources. Includes links to source web sites and references to print publications available in the ILO Library.
  • LibSynd
    Reports and cases of The Committee on Freedom of Association and comments from The Committee of Experts on the Application of Conventions and Recommendations.
  • NATLEX
    Database of national labour, social security and related human rights legislation maintained by the ILO's International Labour Standards Department. Records in NATLEX provide abstracts of legislation and relevant citation information, and they are indexed by keywords and by subject classifications.
  • QVILIS
    A database on complaints and violations of trade union rights. Can be used to locate information in Trade Union Freedom Committee Reports dating from cases presented in 1990.
  • Reported incidents of abandonment of seafarers
    Contains a regularly updated list of that have been reported to the ILO as abandoned in various ports of the world. It specifically includes information on the current status of seafarers who have been abandoned. Produced in conjunction with the IMO with support from the International Ship Suppliers' Association (ISSA).
  • Social Security Worldwide (SSW)
    Covers six different databases on social protection: Scheme Description, Complementary and Private Pensions, Reforms, Legislation, Bibliography and Thesaurus. Produced by the International Social Security Association (ISSA) with the support of the ILO.
  • Termination of Employment Legislation Digest
    A collection of legislative profiles on termination of employment of more than 70 countries, providing comparative tables and relevant Web-links for quick and easy reference
  • Triblex
    Thematic analysis of the case law of the ILO Administrative Tribunal.
  • Verification of credentials
    A database of the case law concerning the conformity of the nominations of Conference delegates and advisers with the ILO Constitution, as well as the non-payment of Conference delegates' and advisers' expenses.
