Research assistance
The ILO Library responds to requests for research
assistance by telephone, e-mail, fax or in person in the Library's Reading Room. Upon request, assistance
is provided in using research tools, including Labordoc and other databases.
Compilation of bibliographies
Anyone can request a personalized subject search of the Library's database, Labordoc.
Reading Room visitors can do this by filling out the request form available at the Library Information
desk. Bibliographies are ready for pickup the day following receipt of the request. Bibliographies can
also be sent by mail, e-mail or fax.
Access to the collections
A reference collection, official ILO documents, a statistical collection and a selection of recent ILO publications can be consulted in the Reading Room.

Loans
Items held in the ILO Library are available for loan to ILO officials, delegates to meetings,
diplomatic missions, retired ILO officials and to other libraries through inter-library loan.
