Our
Staff Health Insurance Fund (SHIF), which has been
managed since 1922 according to the principles of
a mutual benefit social insurance, has reached a
point where choices have to be made.
The financial situation of the SHIF requires quick
adjustments and changes
to guarantee the future.
Different options are
conceivable: increase of contributions, modifications
in the calculations of contributions, measures to
limit the increase in costs.
All are welcome to
come and debate with the elected representatives
of the management committee and with the new Fund
Secretary before the subject is taken up by the
Programme, Financial and Administrative Committee
of the Governing Body of the ILO.
The meeting will take
place on Tuesday 1 March in Salle II (R.3 South)
at 1 p.m.
