A joint meeting between
Staff Unions and Associations from the UN system
in Geneva was held on 5 October, to review the conditions
under which the surveys on housing and on family
budget were conducted in Geneva under the aegis
of ICSC. Those surveys aim at revising the post
adjustment index in Geneva, which is a key component
in fixing salaries for P staff.
The
meeting essentially concluded that colleagues shared
by and large the analysis of the ILO Staff Union
(see Broadcast dated 30 September). We therefore
insist that those colleagues whose intention it
is to answer the questionnaire(s) contact the Union
before finalizing. This is in the interest of all!
