We have pleasure in
forming you that, thanks to the generosity of staff
at ILO HQ, 11.130,-- Swiss Francs could be collected
and immediately transferred to Islamabad as per
the request of local Staff Union representatives,
to be used in direct support of the victims of the
earthquake striking the Northern parts of the country.
Similar
exercises were conducted at the initiative of ILO
Staff Union representatives in a number of duty
stations across the world, showing that, for ILO
staff as a whole, solidarity remains a key word
in our vocabulary.
