Collective Bargaining
Annex No. 1 to
COLLECTIVE AGREEMENT ON
A PROCEDURE FOR THE RESOLUTION OF GRIEVANCES
between
the International Labour Office
and
the ILO Staff Union
Preamble
Recalling
the
Collective Agreement On A Procedure For The Resolution
Of Grievances between the International Labour Office
and the ILO Staff Union ("the Parties"), signed
on 13 September 2000 (hereinafter "the Principal
Grievance Agreement"),
Noting
that certain provisions of the Principal Grievance
Agreement have not been fully implemented within the
dates specified in it,
Considering
that Article 26.2 and Article 27.2 of the
Principal Grievance Agreement provide for the possibility
of introducing adjustments by mutual consent,
The
Parties to the Principal Grievance Agreement agree
as follows:
- The date of appointment
of facilitators under Article 23.1 of the Principal
Grievance Agreement is extended until the 1st
July 2001. All other terms of this Article remain
unchanged.
- In view of unforseen
delays in the process of appointment of the Ombudsperson,
the date of appointment under Article 24.2 (a)
of the Principal Grievance Agreement is extended
until the 1st of September 2001. All other
terms of this Article remain unchanged
- The period for constitution
of the Joint Panel under Article 25.1 of the Principal
Grievance Agreement is extended until 31 May 2001.
All other terms of this Article remain unchanged.
The fact that the extensions of the dates of appointment
referred to in paragraphs 1 to 3 above will bring
those appointments to an end at periods which
are beyond the currency of the Collective Agreement,
is without prejudice to article 27 of the Collective
Agreement.
SIGNED in Geneva this
23th day of May 2001, in two copies, in the English
language, by the representatives of the Parties duly
authorized to that effect.
