Annex No. 1 to the

COLLECTIVE AGREEMENT ON ARRANGEMENTS FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT
OF
A BASELINE CLASSIFICATION AND GRADING
between

the International Labour Office
and the ILO Staff Union

Dated 14 March 2001

 

Recalling the Collective Agreement on Arrangements for the Establishment of

A Baseline Classification and Grading between the International Labour Office and the ILO Staff Union, signed on 14 March 2001 (hereinafter "the principal Baseline Agreement"),

Noting that the initial matching/grading, (Article 2 stage 1, and Article 3, paragraph 3.3) and other provisions of the principal Baseline Agreement have not been fully completed within the date specified in the principal Baseline Agreement,

Considering nevertheless
that it is highly desirable that all the measures agreed upon in the principal Baseline Agreement should be carried out as soon as possible,

The Parties to the principal Baseline Agreement agree as follows:

  1. Notwithstanding Article 2 stage 1, and Article 3 paragraph 3.3, of the principal Baseline Agreement, the date within which the initial matching/grading shall be notified to staff members is extended to no later than 31 May 2001.

  2. Notwithstanding the provisions of Article 4 of the principal Baseline Agreement, a staff member who disagrees with the initial matching/grading may request a review by the Senior Director, in writing, within one month of the receipt of the initial matching/grading.

  3. All other dates for all appeals specified in the principal Baseline Agreement shall remain unchanged, regardless whether the request for review of the initial matching/grading is submitted by 15 May 2001 or later.

  4. Notwithstanding Article 3 Paragraph 3.1, the generic job descriptions shall be posted on the ILO Intranet in English no later than 15 May 2001; the French and Spanish versions shall be posted by 15 June 2001.

  5. The Parties agree to extend to 31 May 2001 the date for the nomination of 14 members of the Independent Review Group, and the establishment of the Terms of Reference for the operation of this Group from 30 April 2001, as set down in Article 9.3 of the principal Baseline Agreement.
