The Maghreb programme

The objective of the Maghreb project is to promote employment through the development of small and medium enterprises in Algeria, Morocco and Tunisia. The activities of the project involve employers, institutions, as well as occupational policies.

The mission of the project is to develop specific methodologies for single countries, that can then be extended to other regions at a further stage. Methods are based on an integrated approach focused on four main areas: socio-economic analysis of environment and territory; active role of local players (private and public) in the promotion of small enterprises; services for the creation of small enterprises; learning from best practices in each country.
