Global campaign against child labour and SCREAM project
Italy supports the Global campaign to raise awareness and understanding on child labour launched by the ILO-IPEC International Programme for the Elimination of Child Labour. Among the other activities of the Global campaign, the project « SCREAM - Supporting children’s rights through education, the arts and the media » aims to help educators worldwide in promoting among young people understanding of the social dimension of globalization and awareness of the causes and consequences of child labour.
SCREAM includes an educational pack, an operational guide and a picture CD-ROM to raise social commitment through the arts and creativity. The SCREAM educational pack has been translated into several languages and is available on the website.
