Brief description

Being gravely concerned about the increasing number of working children Kyrgyz Trade Unions felt growing need to work out a trade union response to the problem. The project is aimed to assist Kyrgyz Trade Unions in coordination of inter-union cooperation on Child Labour (CL) issues. To further develop a sustainable trade union policy and action plan to combat worst forms of CL in selected sectors and to introduce the combat on CL as an integrated part of the daily trade union work on all levels. Thanks to the project the trade Unions has been put in position to take a leading role in fight against Child Labour.
