President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev has signed the Law "On pension provision in the Republic of Kazakhstan" and "On amendments to some legislative acts on pension provision issues."
Press Secretary of the President Dauren Abayev informed, these laws are aimed at improving conditions for pension system modernization, its financial stability, conservation and growth of the pension savings and transparency of the pension assets management.
Thus, the bill, according to which a gradual increase in the retirement age for women is provided from January 1, 2018, was adopted.
However, in accordance with the instructions of the President, the Government needs to take a number of additional measures for the social protection of citizens, that were announced in the address to the people of Kazakhstan.
