Kazakhstan’s Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Protection Birzhan Nurymbetov told a meeting of the human rights commission on February 17 that this year the Central Asian republic would launch an automated information system on occupational safety and health at enterprises.
The system will allow in real time to monitor working conditions, dynamics of occupational injuries and violations concerning labour relations and occupational safety and health and will help to eliminate them.
Nurymbetov noted that Kazakhstan takes further efforts to introduce international standards for occupational safety and health management systems such as ILO-OSH 2001 and OSHAS at local enterprises.
