• 24 March 2004 - Russia ratifies occupational safety and health and dock work conventions 137 and 152

  The Russian State Duma has on 24 March 2004 ratified the ILO Conventions 137 on Dock Work of 1973 and Convention 152 on Occupational Safety and Health in Dock Work of 1979. The President is expected to sign the ratification in April. The delegates of the Duma emphasised that the convention 152 on OSH in dock work corresponds to Russian national interests.
