• 23.01.2001 A seminar on Poverty Alleviation conducted in Moscow

  ILO Moscow Office organised a seminar "Poverty Alleviation within the context of Restructuring of Industrial Enterprises" in Moscow, 23 January 2001, within the framework of the project of the United Nations Country Team in the Russian Federation, with support from the UN Development Group Office and the Swedish Government "Support to the Development of a Poverty Eradication Strategy in the Russian Federation".
  The participants highly appreciated reports of Mr.Louzine, Mr.Liapunov, Mr.Potelle, Mrs.Rimashevskaya, and Mrs.Ovcharova.
  Mr.A.Aganbegyan, Academician, President of the Academy of National Economy under the Government of the Russian Federation, was invited to be a moderator of the seminar.
