Senior Specialist, Employment and Labour Market Policies
Sandrine Cazes holds a D.E.A. "Monetary Economics" and a Magistere in Macroeconomics at the Paris-Sorbonne University.
Sandrine Cazes has been with the ILO since 1997, working in the ILO SRO-Budapest team from June 2002 until 2005. Within ILO SRO-Budapest, Sandrine Cazes's responsibilities covered the broad area of employment, including employment promotion, passive and active labour market policies (particularly those aimed at disadvantaged groups), training and retraining, vocational education, employment services as well as labour market information. Before joining the ILO, she worked as an economist in the French Observatory for research and forecasting in economics (OFCE, Paris).
She has published articles in the ILR and scientific journals on various areas of labour market dynamics in OECD and transition countries, social protection and poverty in Europe and the Russian Federation including a recent paper on the labour market flexibility in CEE countries.
