BIA has a staff of about 75 persons, and fulfills a key role
in social relations in Bulgaria. It has developed a strong internet
service for building relations with and assisting its members. Through
this service, members are informed of the position taken by BIA in
Bulgaria's accession negotiations with the European Union. BIA is
also the sole employers' organization member of the Joint Consultive
Committee of the Ecosoc for Bulgaria.
