The primary objective of the ILO Central and Eastern European Team is to provide policy advice to government agencies as well as to workers' and employers' organizations in the region. That is based on the collection, analysis and dissemination of information on labour market and social policy.
Workshop in Ostrava, Czech Republic
CEET in cooperation with the VUROM Institute will
organise a seminar on local labour market restructuring
and Social Dialogue in Ostrava on November 29 - 30, 1993.
The aim of the workshop is to discuss the respective
roles of employer organisations, enterprise management,
trade unions, regional and local authorities, local
labour offices and other organizations in promoting
employment restructuring and mitigating social tensions.
Conference on Policies for Disabled, Poznan, Poland
CEET, ILO-REHAB and the Polish Ministry of Labour will
organise a conference "Labour Market Policies for
Disabled People in CEE countries" in Poznan on February
22 - 24, 1994.
