In order to be a reference guide for young workers to be closely acquainted with their rights at work, “Handbook on Rights at Work” prepared by Labour Inspectors Association for ILO Ankara Office within the scope of the United Nations Joint Programme “Growth with Decent Work for All: National Youth Employment Program and Pilot Implementation in Antalya” (UNJP-YEM) has been published in Turkish.
Designed as a guide to explain existing legal regulations on the world of work in a holistic and easily understandable way, the “Handbook on Rights at Work” will be distributed among the unemployed youth participating in Turkish Employment Organization’s vocational training courses which are being supported by the UNJP-YEM in the pilot province of Antalya in 2011 and 2012. Moreover, this study will also be shared with the beneficiaries of another United Nations Joint Programme in which ILO Ankara Office is involved, the “Harnessing Sustainable Linkages for SMEs in Turkey’s Textile Sector” project.
This handbook aims to be a guiding source, particularly for young workers, to familiarize them with their rights at work. |
