Conventions Ratified by Myanmar

Fundamental (Core) Conventions

Myanmar became a member of ILO in 1948 [ref]. To date, Myanmar has ratified 21 conventions of which 19* are in force. Of the ILO's eight fundamental conventions, Myanmar has ratified the following two conventions.

• C29 Forced Labour Convention, 1930
• C87 Freedom of Association and Protection of the Right to Organise Convention, 1948

Priority Conventions

Myanmar is not a party to any priority conventions.
