ILO-Suva serves 22 South Pacific Island countries, seven of which are ILO member states. tuvalu became the eight member on 27 May 2008. Tuvalu has become the 182nd Member State of the ILO.

The ILO promotes Decent Work for all through its tripartite partnership with Government, employers' and workers' organizations in each of its member states.
