Other Initiatives Against Child Labour in Nepal

There are a host of organizations working for the elimination of child labour in Nepal, including community based organizations (CBOs), non-governmental organizations (NGOs), international donor agencies, and the Government. Major players include UNICEF, GTZ, World Education International, and Winrock International.

In the case of trafficking, the UN Joint Initiative, which is complemented by the Inter-Agency Donor Group on Trafficking, is an example of how UN agencies collaborate against trafficking.
