Session 1 - International perspective on developing National Plans of Action for Decent  Work

Through this session, the presenter will address: (a) What is a National Plan of Action for Decent
Work (NPADW), and (b) provide an overview of international approaches in developing these plans.

Five country delegations will present their experiences in the planning, developing, and implementing
of NPADW (15 minutes presentations per country). After the four countries have made their presentation
there will be up to 30 minutes for questions and answers.

Session 4 - Group discussions of the Tripartite Partners

Tripartite breakout meetings to consolidated the outcomes and lessons from the country presentations

This session will address the concern across the sub–region of increasing unemployment and under
employment of young women and men. It will highlight initiatives that can be incorporated into
NPADW and provide an opportunity for sharing of experiences.

 the prevention and management of HIV/AIDS at the workplace.
