Presentation of Best Women Entrepreneurs of Aceh Awards 2006

BANDA ACEH: The International Labour Organization (ILO) and the Indonesian Employers’ Association (APINDO), joined by the BRR, and UNIFEM, celebrated the International Women’s Day with the themes to promote role models for women entrepreneurs and to secure gender mainstreaming in all process of reconstruction and rehabilitation initiatives in Aceh and Nias.  Over 100 business women, representatives of the donor community and UN agencies, and local government attended the International Women’s Day: Reconstruction and Rehabilitation of Aceh and Nias—Best Women Entrepreneurs of Aceh, 2006 on Wednesday, 8 March, from 08.30 to 12.00, at Dinas Informasi dan Komunikasi (Infokom), Banda Aceh, the Province of Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam..... >> more

Supporting Reconstruction Process, Provincial Government and ILO hold Rural Infrastructure Clinic in Banda Aceh

ILO and Education Office to Develop Remedial Programme for National Examinations Phase II

BANDA ACEH (ILO News): Thousands of junior and senior high school students in the Province of Provinsi Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam (NAD) failed the national exams phase I conducted last June. It is reported that around 24,381 junior high school children had failed. Manpower Minister to Launch Employment Service in Banda Aceh

BANDA ACEH (Joint Press Release):  The Minister of Manpower and Transmigration, H.E. Fahmi Idris, will officially open the Employment Service for the People of Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam Province (ESPNAD) on Monday, 21 March 2005, in Banda Aceh.
