Contains the whole database of ILO Geneva library from 1965 to date, and is updated quarterly. Users can search by author, title, subject, country or region, by language and by year of publication.
* ILOLEX
Contains the full-text database of ILO Conventions and Recommendations and texts of reports on their ratification and application in ILO member states.
In addition to all ILO publications, the library's collection contains books, journals, reports, documents, pamphlets on development and labour-related issues, including national legislation and labour statistics. The library also has publications of the UN, UN specialized agencies, and other inter-governmental, non-governmental and regional Organisations on labour and employment issues, education and training, development issues, labour economics, labour relations, labour legislation, enterprise and management development, rural development, working conditions and technological change, social security, worker and employer organisations.
ILO subject related articles from the local newspapers are collected and compiled.

The information centre also handles the promotion and sale of ILO priced publications.
Ordering ILO publications can be done through the ILO Colombo Office. The order will take about 3-4 weeks to arrive in Colombo from ILO Geneva. Payment could be made to the Colombo Office by cash/cheque.
