Bureau of Rural Workers

The Bureau of Rural Workers is a staff bureau of the Department of Labor and Employment. It is responsible for developing policies and programs geared at improving rural workers' welfare and protecting their interest. Agricultural Training Institute

Created by the Agriculture and Fisheries Modernization Act of 1997 the ATI prepares an integrated plan for publicly-funded training programs in agriculture and fisheries, trains agricultural extension workers and their clientele and conduct multi-level training programs to promote and accelerate rural development. The website presents its programs and services and has online knowledge products.

National Maritime Polytechnic

Executive Order No. 126 signed in 1987 attached NMP to the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) converting NMP from state college to a DOLE agency. One of the objectives of the NMP is to train and upgrade the country's maritime manpower resources through upgrading and specialization programs. The website presents the services it offers.
