Agricultural Training Institute
Created by the Agriculture and Fisheries Modernization Act of 1997 the ATI prepares an integrated plan for publicly-funded training programs in agriculture and fisheries, trains agricultural extension workers and their clientele and conduct multi-level training programs to promote and accelerate rural development. Executive Order No. 126 signed in 1987 attached NMP to the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) converting NMP from state college to a DOLE agency.
