Description
Integrated into the UNDAF objective to reduce poverty and vulnerability through improved access and quality of basic services, the project aims to establish and support the Samoa Qualifications Authority. This new government agency must develop the recognition of qualifications and skills, on policy advice, coordination and quality insurance on post school education and training that meets labour market demands and supports national goals for human resource development. The outcome of the project will be expanded opportunities for lifelong quality education for all community groups contributing to national development in Samoa.
