than 30 participants from six cities in three provinces will attend
the workshop. It will be led by Dr. Tsuyoshi Kawakami, Occupational
Safety and Health Specialist at the ILO Subregional Office for

trainees will learn about creating a good physical working environment, good workstation design, safe ways to handle materials
and operate machines, welfare facilities and work organization.
The
participants come from the cities of Zhangjakou,
Dr.
Kawakami said: “This
workshop will show that significant health and safety improvements can
be made using simple, low-cost, measures and techniques. By improving
health and safety businesses can enhance productivity and well as
improve the conditions of their workers.”
