Launch Labour Law Network The Launch Labour Law (LLL) Project was initiated in the fall of 2003 to address the fundamental weakness of the social law research and education capabilities in Asia, which hamper the development of the ILO’s promotional activities in standard-setting and follow-up of important instruments, such as the Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work. The lack of information and awareness on ILO standards in the Asian region, in particular, is the result of ignorance on ILO standards among the professional groups and among the general public. A fundamental strategy must be drawn up to raise genuine awareness among the legal practitioners, in particular legal professionals and would-be professionals., i.e., university students. Objectives
