ILO/Japan Regional Programme for Expansion of Employment Opportunities for Women (EEOW) EEOW is a gender-specific employment promotion programme for women in poverty. It aims to improve the socio-economic status of women by supporting the work of community-based women’s groups, raising awareness on gender relations, setting up savings and credit groups, providing skills training, improving market linkages and providing technical and financial support to pilot projects in support of national efforts.
