Our Prevention Work

"It's often said that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure."

We agree. And while it's not the only approach to fighting human trafficking, it's one of the most important. After all, if we can find ways to minimize the exposure to abusive situations, we can reduce the need for rescue, recovery, judicial process - and above all the trauma suffered by children and women who fall prey to traffickers and abusive employers who conspire to take advantage of young vulnerable people - especially migrants.

We encourage you to review our Proven Practices in human trafficking prevention - they can be found here.

If you are already engaged in anti-trafficking work, we also suggest you check out the tools we've developed with our partners - they are available here.
