While many projects have focused on combating trafficking for sexual exploitation, we've broadened the field with a major focus on prevention of trafficking in labour exploitation - especially as this affects migrant workers in the GMS. That isn't to say we neglect prevention of trafficking for sexual exploitation, and you will see that we have worked with partners in several countries to fight that too.
But increasingly young migrants are targeted by exploitative job brokers and employers who exploit their vulnerabilities, forcing them into near slave-like conditions. You'll find that identifying the vulnerable employment sectors and offering solutions are threads that run through most of our work.
