| In May 1994, in Chiba, Japan, an APSDEP workshop on training materials development and example was held, attended by participants from 12 countries. This workshop was the first of its kind arranged by the Lead Institution for Training Materials Development and Exchange, which is the National Manpower and Youth Council of the Philippines. This publication, resulting from the workshop, contains a regional review of training materials development, country statements on the present status and trends of training materials development (from Japan, Malaysia, Nepal, Philippines, Singapore and Thailand) and general issues and trends in training materials development. The issue of copyright is addressed. Appendices include a list of workshop participants and outlines of national action plans. | ||
