Ushiyama, M.

Planning and Organisation of National Skill Competitions

184 p. Geneva: ILO, 1993
ISBN 9221089150
This publication was developed by APSDEP in order to assist member countries in the Asian-Pacific region in the planning and management of trade skill competitions. Skill competitions are now one of the most effective means of promoting skill development. Along with giving workers an incentive to develop their skills, skill competitions raise public awareness about the importance of blue collar workers in national development and trade skill training, and enhance workers' self-esteem.
