| This publication is based on discussions held and experience gained during the study tours/seminars on in-plant training in small and medium-sized enterprises in the Asia-Pacific region organised by the ILO/APSDEP in Japan in 1992. It reflects the regional perspective and experience of in-plant training in Australia, the Republic of Korea, New Zealand and Singapore. It needs to be emphasised that in-plant training programmes in these particular countries constitute a major component of technical and vocational skill development efforts. | ||
