Objectives

The workshop aims to engage workers’ and employers’ organizations in fostering a new development model for the Arab region and the establishment of corresponding national development frameworks, including stronger and more coherent UN policy responses to employment and decent work challenges. Participants include worker and employer representatives from Bahrain, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, the occupied Palestinian territory, Saudi Arabia, Syria and Yemen.
