The two-day event, the first of its kind in the region, will gather representatives of the Lebanese government, employers’ organizations, trade unions, and civil society actors, including testimonies from domestic workers. The workshop is part of a broader global initiative entitled “Decent Work for Domestic Workers” to support the development of international labour standards to enable domestic workers to benefit from the full range of protections and rights related to decent work.
