Objectives of the meeting
This training is aimed at improving the technical knowledge and management skills of managers of microfinance institutions so that they may reach more clients and improve their performance. The course uses a training manual developed by the International Training Centre of the ILO and the ILO Social Finance Programme. The ILO Regional Office in cooperation with the International Training Centre of the ILO will train and certify regional trainers throughout this process who will be delivering this course in the future. The ILO/ITCILO will continue to support them with mentoring, with updated training materials, and through the network of other certified trainers from 35 countries through our Community of Practice.
