Welcome to the ILO’s Regional Office for Arab States. The ILO is the UN agency that deals with workplace and work-related issues, and strives to achieve decent work for all. The regional office is based in Beirut and covers 11 countries, namely Bahrain, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, United Arab Emirates and Yemen. ILO activities in the occupied Palestinian territory are also part of the Regional Office portfolio.
