It is characteristic of nowadays that, the broader the intellectual
scope of mankind is, the more its practical powers are developed, when
most needed is for our species the syntehsis between science and production,
knowing and acting, hand and head, ... the more separate they are from
the point of view of individual experience.

Abstract.
In this paper I try to offer different perspectives upon which to approach
the conflicting notions regarding the relationships between work and
education. I start by showing some of the topics as well as the difficulties
surrounding such an issue, and contextualizing them in the context of
the SPES-NET discussions. From here, I introduce the papers in this
section of the final report as well as refer to certain parts of the
previous section. Following this I try to establish some points upon
which to define the notions of work and education, contextualizing them
in the VET debates. These are then revisited once more in order to offer
some questions to which researchers in VET should pay more attention
than they have up to now. The paper concludes with some ideas to establish
a new agenda on this issues.
