issues. It provides information sources on labour relations, employment,
child labour, social security, training, men and women workers,
conditions of work, as well as on social aspects of the economy,
development and technological change in all countries of the world.
NATLEX
Database of national legislation on labour, social security and
related human rights maintained by the ILO's International Labour
Standards Department.
Records in NATLEX provide abstracts of national legislation and
relevant citation information.
Informal
Economy Resource Database
This database contains over 500 ILO entries directly or indirectly
related to the informal economy, representing the follow-up of
the mapping process started after the general Discussion on Decent
Work and the Informal Economy held at the 90th Session of the
International Labour Conference.
Conditions
of work and employment database
This database contains legal information from countries around
the world. It covers legislation on maternity protection, minimum
wages and hours of work.
Resource
Database on Poverty, Local Development and Decent Work
This Resource Database contains over 200 tools and resources that
directly or indirectly focus on poverty from a macro-level perspective
and/or from a local development perspective within the ILO's decent
work framework.
Most of these resources, which range from policy papers and
studies to manuals and guidelines, have been published over
the past five years by the ILO. Each entry contains information
about the resource, including decent work dimensions, relevance
to local development processes, certain substance issues, users
and beneficiaries, as well as a brief summary of the contents.
In most cases, the resources can be accessed electronically,
in PDF format. However, where it is not available electronically,
links are provided to the relevant ILO website to enable the
user to order the publication directly or make further inquiries.
SIPROMICRO
The Micro-Enterprise Information System in Central America is
a platform of information services which mainly disseminates information
through the internet network and the public services it provides
(network of web pages, electronic mail, mailing lists, etc.).
This site presents specialised documentation and information on
the micro-enterprise sector in Central America.

It is available to search ILO publications in subject areas such
as employment, social protection, women at work, occupational
health and safety, child labour, training and management, labour
statistics.

A breakdown may be obtained by:
- sex
- micro-enterprise employers
- micro-enterprise employees
- domestic work
- non-qualified independent workers.
The indicator results from the ratio between the urban employed
population of low productivity (informal sector, corresponding
to micro-enterprises, domestic work and non-qualified independent
workers) (numerator) and the urban employed population for both
sexes, women and men. The resulting number is multiplied by 100.
