Employment indicators are available at:
http://www.eclac.cl/badeinso/consulta_indicadores.aspcual=5

- We draw attention in particular to Urban employed persons in low productivity sectors (informal sector) of the labour market, by sex
A breakdown may be obtained by:
- sex
- micro-enterprise employers
- micro-enterprise employees
- domestic work
- non-qualified independent workers.
The indicator results from the ratio between the urban employed population of low productivity (informal sector, corresponding to micro-enterprises, domestic work and non-qualified independent workers) (numerator) and the urban employed population for both sexes, women and men. The resulting number is multiplied by 100.
Data are available for the 1989-2002 period for all regional countries.
