TRANSNATIONAL COLLECTIVE AGREEMENT BETWEEN TRADE UNIONS AND
VOLKSWAGEN OF ARGENTINA AND BRAZIL ENTERPRISES

COLLECTIVE CONTRACT

This COLLECTIVE CONTRACT, which establishes the basic principles concerning relations between capital and labour in the Mercosur is written between VOLKSWAGEN do Brasil Ltda., located at the city of São Paulo, State of São Paulo - Brazil, 291 Volkswagen Street, Parque Jabaquara; as well as VOLKSWAGEN de Argentina S.A. located at the city of Buenos Aires - Argentina, 267 Street Maipú, 11th floor, Capital Federal, hereinafter referred to as COMPANIES and the ABC METALLURGIC TRADE UNION, located at 231 João Basso Street, in São Bernardo do Campo, State of São Paulo, and the TAUBATE, TREMEMBE AND DISTRICTS METALLURGIC, MECHANICS AND ELECTRICAL MATERIAL, IRON AND STEEL AND AUTOMOBILE INDUSTRIES AND OFFICES WORKERS' TRADE UNION, located at Taubaté, 98 Urupês Street, and CUT METALLURGIC TRADE UNIONS, as well as the MECHANICS AND AUTOMOBILE TRANSPORT TRADE UNION OF ARGENTINA, located at Buenos Aires, 665 Av. Belgrano, hereinafter referred to as TRADE UNIONS, representing in this contract the employees of the COMPANIES, employed in the factory located at Via Anchieta, km. 23,5, in São Bernardo do Campo, State of São Paulo, in the factory located at Av. Carlos Pedroso da Silveira, 10.000, in Taubaté, State of São Paulo, both in Brazil; and in Delcasse and Av. Henry Ford Street, City of General Pacheco, Buenos Aires and Camino San Carlos, km. 3,5, Province of Cordoba, both in Argentina, hereinafter referred to as PLANTS' INTERNAL COMMISSIONS.

This contract establishes that:

07. VOCATIONAL TRAINING SYSTEM
- Vocational training programmes will be standardised between the different units of the enterprises with respect for the particularities and technical needs due to the productive processes of each unit.
- According to existent needs and the possibilities of implementation, enterprises will elaborate vocational training programmes taking into account co-operation, contributions and suggestions presented by trade unions and plants' internal commissions.
- Training, courses, seminars, etc, that are part of the vocational training programmes in any unit will be automatically recognised by others. (...)
(...) By being the parts in whole agreement with this contract, they subscribe the present document by eight similar channels.
