This site displays cases of American national legislations that
regulate some aspects of vocational training as linked to labour
law, ranging from the advisory participation of workers in bipartite
bodies of human resources management to the development of workers'
right/duty to be trained within the labour relationship together
with the corresponding obligations of employers.
Before that, an overview of American constitutions is provided,
where the law began to acknowledge the importance of vocational
training. These documents were the starting point of the so called
"social constitutionalism", that followed the Mexican
Constitution of Querétaro in 1917.
