The Information and Documentation Service offers a wide range of services. At the present time we are in the process of widening our services on line which will enable you to access:

On line consultation to INFOR database: bibliographic base that includes monographs, periodical publications and teaching and training material.

The Service has information resources from its own document files and other sources available on training, ILO conventions and recommendations, national social labour legislation, training legislation, etc.

There is a Compact Disc available with the following ILO Data bases:

• ILOLEX: whole text of ILO conventions and recommendations
• LABORDOC: ILO Geneva bibliographic database
• NATLEX: national social labour legislation

Other Compact Disks available: Information on IPEC/ILO (International Programme for the Eradication of Children’ s Labour), training and teaching materials.

Cinterfor/ILO databases:

• INFOR: (search only in Spanish)
• LEGIS: vocational training legislation in Latin America

Reference collection: Includes bibliographies, reading guides, catalogues, directories, thesaurus, glossaries, dictionaries, encyclopedias, etc.

• Advisory service

The Service offers advisory service to member institutions of Cinterfor /ILO in Latin America and the Caribbean, on request.

• Technical assistance

We offer technical assistance to all Cinterfor /ILO interlocutors through the documentation sources and information from other institutions, on request.
