Reeh Programme Officer Mr. Reeh, a Danish national joined the ILO/SAMAT in March in 1999. With the team his duties lie primarily with assisting the Director of ILO/SAMAT in carrying out all programming related activities. This includes assisting in the preparation, execution and follow-up of SAMAT’s workplan and co-ordination of activities with Headquarters, Regional Office and Area Office, Lusaka and Area Office, Pretoria including arrangement of yearly workplan harmonization meeting for regional offices and projects. The Programme Officer is also responsible for monitoring, evaluation and reporting on all of SAMAT’s activities, which entails production of status progress reports, and regularly updating of the workplan. Other duties included the provision of technical advice on the design, monitoring and evaluation of projects, backstopping and monitoring various technical cooperation projects, preparing replies on requests from ILO or external organizations on various ILO related issues, developing and maintaining ILO/SAMAT’s website and intranet and being a member of Monitoring and Evaluation Committee for the UN Development Assistance Framework (UNDAF) for Zimbabwe. |
