Subregional offices represent
the ILO in the countries of their direct responsibility. They
are responsible for program planning, implementation and evaluation
of ILO activities in all the countries of the subregion.
They, therefore,
- provide advisory services to the tripartite constituents
- assist governments, employers' and workers' representatives
in identifying their objectives in collaboration with
area offices
- support the attainment of objectives through technical cooperation
programs
