There are 7 Area offices:

representing the ILO in countries covered
- providing continued
dialogue with tripartite constituents at the national level as well as with
officials of bilateral or multilateral funding entities and social development
partners.
- formulating, in consultation with governments, employers
and workers representatives, country objectives as well as with the assistance
of multidisciplinary teamsÌ specialists.
- following up the development,
implementation and evaluation of ILO activities in countries covered.
