Germany
ILO/AIDS and GTZ, Germany's international development agency, have formed a partnership to develop a project with three components, aimed at promoting workplace policies and programmes on HIV/AIDS: the first part will focus on incorporating workplace policies into national AIDS plans; the second will support the collection and analysis of examples of good practice in workplace action, with a view to preparing the tripartite inter-regional technical meeting on best practices in December 2003; the third component consists of policy-oriented research on the impact of AIDS on human capital in key economic sectors and in the informal economy.
