Reinforcement of communitarian social protection systems (SPSC)

Step aims at the reinforcement of communitarian social protection systems (SPSC) based on supporting structures and SPSC federations in terms of exclusion from healthcare social protection in French-speaking Africa, through four types of actions:

• Reinforcement of skills and capacities of health micro-insurances and of supporting structures for the diffusion of tools, specially IT, developed by the programme and the training;
• Compilation of information produced by health micro-insurance systems to create a database more accurate of this sector to contribute to the advocating done for national and international actors;
• Follow-up of research-action carried out on innovative experiences;
• Support of heath insurance systems set up by organizations of workers and organizations of employers of the formal sector.
