In the framework of the “Global Campaign on Social Security and Coverage for All”, the role of social health insurance in the fight against poverty will be discussed at an International Conference on Social Health Insurance in Developing Countries, to be held in Berlin from December 5th-7th 2005, and organised jointly by the ILO, the GTZ and the WHO. Interregional workshop
The International Training Centre of the ILO is organizing an interregional workshop entitled "Strategies for the extension of social protection" (in French), from August 29th to September 9th 2005 in Turin, Italy, to reinforce the capacity of social actors and decision makers in this field. The same workshop will take place in Spanish in Lima (1-12/8/05) and in English in Turin (21/11-2/12/05).
